If you use the Cuddy Family Midtown Park Skating Oval we ask that you join us by donating. You can make a tax-deductible contribution to AnchorageSkates. AnchorageSkates has a "donor-advised fund' at the Alaska Community Foundation. When you donate to AnchorageSkates, you donate to the AnchorageSkates fund of the Alaska Community Foundation. In return, they administer the fund and give you a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt organization receipt for your income taxes. Ice maintenance is about $16,000 per year, and about 2/3 of that cost comes from supporters like you. For donating, you will receive an annual AnchorageSkates pin that you can wear with pride and it shows you care. Alternatively, you can click on the "Donation Form" and mail in your donation. In addition to annual ice maintenance, we are fundraising for the completion and sustainability of the facility, as well as for an endowment to fund the ice maintenance. For those interested in higher levels of giving, these people or organizations, and their level of support, will be recognized on signage at the oval and on this website.
